The AC-DC Adapter is UL approval and designed for the second power option connected with FDK arm cuff BP monitor other than batteries. Use for Models FT-C11B-V, FT-C15Y, FT-C15Y-V, FT-C22Y and FT-C22Y-V

Accessory adapter can be used in lieu of batteries. Batteries need to be removed from monitor if not used for six months or longer to avoid damage from the possibility of leaking batteries.
