Photographer: Gerhard Riebicke (German, 1878 - 1957) - important German photographer who is considered a pioneer in the field of human figure photography. Riebicke's finest work was produced in the 1920's & 1930's where his photographs celebrated the human form (often nude) in athletic and dance activity.
