Special Purchase French Calf available in a rainbow of colors!!! This premium leather was originally intended for high-end handbag manufacturers, who sell their bags for tens of thousands of dollars; but the skins were not perfect, so they were rejected by the manufacturer!

When we say they were not perfect we mean that there might be a tiny flaw the size of a tip of a pencil or something like that. Fortunately for all of us, we are not that picky, a flaw the size of the tip of a pencil? No problem! Turns out that Kevin and Rusty have a fantastic relationship with that tannery and we were able to buy these rejected skins as seconds! That means we got them cheap! This leather is simply amazing!

These calf skins are smoothly finished, with semi-firm hand, tanned to perfection and processed in such a way that when you cut into it, it even sounds different, like a tiny screech. Folks, it is incredible that there are colors like purple and blue to choose from, but it is even more incredible! Available in 6 jewel-tone colors; Amber, Amethyst, Blue Topaz, Garnet, Bronzite (available in two finish options: Matte and Satin), and Sapphire. Skins are approximately 3-4oz. (1.2 - 1.6mm) and average around 25 sq. ft.
