Archival Inkjet on Matte Finish Fine Art Paper

About the Artwork

Henriëtte Ronner-Knip was the most popular female painter of her time. Born into a family of artists, she entered the profession early, selling her first painting at age 15. She initially painted farms, animals and forests, but came to specialize in dogs and cats. To overcome the challenges posed, she constructed a glass-partitioned studio that allowed to her to make sketches without interrupting her subjects, or vice versa. She would then make paper sculptures in the desired poses, which she could stage among the props or furniture to be used in the finished work.

Fine Art Quality

The Ibis’s giclée process uses archival pigment inks on 100% cotton rag paper to achieve crisp detail and rich, lasting color. Unlike posters, they will not yellow with time, but will maintain their original quality for as long as you own them.
