Utilising a 3-axis gyro, the NX3 EVOS Flight Stabiliser is the new generation of 3-axis aircraft gyros and builds of the success of its predecessor the NX3.
The EVOS is capable of stabilising flight on just about any fixed wing aircraft including V-tail & Delta models.
It provides added stability by automatically correcting the aileron, elevator and rudder channels in flight. This compensates for unwanted changes in the aeroplane's attitude due to wind and other factors.
In short, it makes your aeroplane much more stable in flight!
The NX3 EVOs is great for those who tend to fly in windy conditions, as it will compensate for wind gusts that would normally push your model around. It's also an ideal add-on to your favourite FPV model to keep it on the straight and level while flying.
It offers additional performance when compared to the NX3 model, the EVOs provides four levels of flight modes & an emergency mode:
Beginner:
Aileron auto-level with roll angle limited to ±75 degrees. When the aileron stick back to centre position, the aileron will keep level automatically.
The elevator will be controlled by the pilot. Note, there is no auto-level function, but it will provide obvious assistance, the pitch has an attitude locking function.
Beginner mode is ideally for beginner pilots but can also can be used for short-range FPV.
Practice:
Attitude locking for roll, pitch, yaw with restriction on roll and pitch speed. Practice mode does not have auto-level and angle limit function. Practice mode is for practise flying.
Promotion:
Attitude locking for roll, pitch, yaw. Promotion mode is very similar to practice mode but it also provides attitude locking function.
Compared to practice mode, promotion mode supplies a more sensitive control.
Expert:
Simple Gyro correction. The best control sense. It supplies a simple Gyro correction and anti-wind function.
These modes can be switched via a spare 3 way switch on your radio.
Emergency mode:
One-key auto safety Roll auto-level, climb up. You can trigger the emergency switch in all flight modes. In emergency mode, aircraft will keep roll level and then climb up by a small degree.
