"We have spent much time trying different types of wire, including Pure Silver, Single crystal Copper, and Pure Silver plated Copper. We have finally settled on the best sounding wire we tested. The Silver Reference Interconnect follows all the strict regulations of the Silver Reference Series. Each piece is handcrafted one at a time here in the U.S.A. under the highest quality control. Only WBT Silver Solder is used. The solder joints are tested for quality, and the wires have strict tolerances as far as stripping, and heatshrinking goes. We will not claim to have silly "magic" cable, we simply use the best sounding materials available. The Silver Reference Interconnect is made of NASA spec. Teflon insulated, Pure 99.99% Silver plated 99.999% OFHC Copper. The inner conductors are 20 Ga. in a Hyperlitz Helix geometry, and have a Pure Silver Plated Copper braid shield, that is unattached at both ends for maximum signal transfer(we have compared this to unshielded twisted pair and had better results with this design). The conductors and shield are then covered in a flexible Teflon outer jacket and finally covered with black nylon."

"Of course, we only terminate with the highest quality, most expensive connector made, WBT of Germany (think Mercedes or Porsche). This Cable uses a precision machined locking type RCA which will never wear out with time, and will always have a strong grip. The RCA's used are the "mini" series that fit better with close RCA jacks. (Sometimes "wide body" RCA's will touch each other at the back of the equipment. These will not.) Finally the connectors are treated with Caig Labs Pro-Gold contact conditioner, which improves the flow of electricity on plated metal surfaces.
