Irish Belleek Porcelain Flowered Aberdeen Vase

middle size 7 1/2"h, 4th mark c. 1946-1955.

Fancy ewer shape with elaborate applied rose & flower spray over fluted body above band of oval shields & dots.  Wide mouth, large C-scroll handle, relief double bead neck band.

Green wolf, tower, harp & ribbon above oval seal mark of Belleek Pottery, Fermanagh Ireland - the 4th mark & 1st green mark in use from c1946 to 1955.  Degenhart D-58.

An excellent example with no chips, cracks, hairlines, nor restorations.  There is usually some damage to the applique - one leaf tip may have a flea bite - if it does it is of no real significance.  There is also a 1/8" drying production stress fissure in the whiplash top edge (see last photo) also of little matter.
