Second Third of the 17th Century

Authentic Stone Lithograph

Published in Germany

late 1880s original

BACKGROUND INFO:

This is an authentic, double-paged, colored stone lithograph (print), illustrating historical clothing. The verso (reverse side) is blank. The images on the print are of an exceptional quality and detail. Its' text is in German.

The lithograph illustrates the following:

a) Musketeer and Pikeman in the Thirty Years' War (A pike was a long wooden shaft with a pointed head used by foot soldiers.)
b) Nobility
c) French Cavalrymen
d) Dutch Nobility

The entire piece measures: 13-3/8" x 17" (34 x 43,2cm). This large sheet is folded in the middle. It was once bound in book form. The page is very lightly tanned due to age but is clean, with minimal edgewear. The colors are bright. There is no foxing (little brown age spots). Odor-free. Smoke-free. Overall condition is: VERY GOOD.

This is a very scarcely found item. It is an original, NOT a reproduction. Unconditionally guaranteed to be as described -- full refund if not satisfied.

Perfect for matting and framing. I have a few other engravings up for bid--please take a look. The same price ships them all!
