Angeboten wird ein Satz ABS-Teile für einen Umbau Anet A8 auf AM8 (mit Metallprofilrahmen):
  • Ein Metallrahmen macht den A8 wesentlich robuster, steifer und schwingungsärmer:
  • Erhöhte Druckqualität und -geschwindigkeit. Reproduzierbare Druckergebnisse.
  • Durch Wegfall der Acrylteile geringere Brandlast!
  • Führungs- und Antriebsteile für maximale Steifigkeit und Festigkeit mit 100% Füllung.
  • Frei von Verzug!
  • Alle Passungen überprüft und ggf. nachgearbeitet.
  • Insbesondere Herstellung von Übergangspassungen (leichten Presspassungen) für die 8 mm Linearwellen (gemäß Datenblatt üblicher Wellen).
  • Zusätzlich enthalten: farblich passende X-Achsen-Teile aus ABS. Die Originalteile des A8 sind entweder weiße Druckteile aus PLA oder billige, dünnwandige Spritzgüsse.
Warum ich nur Druckerteile aus ABS empfehlen würde:
  • ABS ist anspruchsvoller zu drucken (nicht Ihr Problem) als bspw. PETG, bietet aber überlegene Temperaturbeständigkeit bei vergleichbar guten mechanischen Eigenschaften
  • PETG bietet eine nur wenig höhere Erweichungstemperatur als PLA (60°C), das verwendete ABS fast die doppelte (>110°C)
  • größere Sicherheitsreserven am Extruder und am Heizbett - nicht nur im Fehlerfall:
  • geeignet zum Drucken höherschmelzender Materialien wie Polycarbonat oder Polyamid
  • ideal wenn der Drucker in einer (beheizten) Kammer genutzt werden soll (habe schon X-Motor-Teile aus PETG gehabt, die sich durch Motorwärme und Riemenspannung langsam aber sicher verbogen haben...)

This offer includes a set of ABS parts for a conversion of Anet A8 to AM8 (with metal extrusion frame):
  • A metal frame makes the A8 much more robust, rigid and reduces vibration:
  • Increased print quality and speeds. Reproduceable printing results.
  • Reduced fire loading by omitting the acrylic parts!
  • Guidance and drive parts printed with 100% infill for maximum strength and stiffness.
  • No warpage!
  • All clearances were checked and reworked if necessary.
  • Especially, creation of transition fits (slight press fits) for the 8 mm linear rods (according to datasheets of common rod types).
  • Additionally included: color-matching X axis parts made of ABS. The original A8 parts are either made of white PLA or cheap thin-walled injection molded parts.
Why I would only recommend printer parts made of ABS:
  • ABS may be more challenging to print (not your problem) than e.g. PETG, but offers superior temperature resistance while featuring comparably good mechanical properties.
  • PETG has a glass transistion (softening) temperature only slightly above that of PLA (60°C), the offered ABS almost doubles on that (>110°C).
  • larger thermal safety margins for the extruder parts - not only when things go wrong:
  • suitable for printing high temperature materials like polycarbonate oder polyamide.
  • ideal when using the printer in a (heated) chamber (already had PETG x-motor parts twisting due to motor heat and belt tension...).
