Antique 1930 Unmarked Composition Doll 14.5" Tall Blue Sleep Eyes
This doll came from a a collector of dolls who frequented doll expos, fairs and antique shops like an old school way of finding doll treasures. I will be listing a lot of her collection. Please look at all the images as I do not accept returns on this item and trying to find this very nice doll a good home. First, I cannot identify this doll although I had Patsy doll and she kinda look like her. As far as the age, I am only assuming that she's from the 1930's. Her head, arms and legs (from knees to feet) are composition and the body is cloth. She is a not a crier doll since there's no crier mechanism inside her body. Her clothes are very brittle and has tears, it is quite really old. There are crazing on the composition most especially her head and there's a chip on the left bottom of the chin (quite tiny). Her blue sleep eyes work - open and shuts properly. Her shoes are in great shape. I am not sure if the clothing is original to this doll although it can be replaced. If someone can tell me who she is, I will very much appreciate it so that I can list her properly and reach the appropriate collectors.
Item Condition: This item is in good to very good condition with wear due to possible use, display, age (1930s) and storage. It is clean and there are chips, holes & tears on the clothes and crazing as described. This item is sold As-is and As-found and no return so please review all the images provided. Thanks. As far as shipping, I do charge a handling fee of
$2.00 per listing/item typically for
magazines and light books and other light items but for heavy items
which requires a box, it will be included in the shipping
charges.The First Class I use is First Class Package and not First Class
letter Rate which includes the tracking number so please be mindful
when rating me. All shipping charges are based on the weight of the item
and plus a handling fee for packaging.
