Hello !

Up for sale is an amazing delay pedal by Catalinbread …. the Belle Epoch Tape Echo !

This is one COMPLETE delay pedal. In features, it's like one of those multi - button deluxe and/or dual size pedals, but in a small, compact single enclosure !

Just the Echo Delay and Mix controls alone make this pedal rival the best units out there ! You can get short slap back sounds, Eddie Van Halen style solo type repeats, or longer, more ambient type soundscapes ! And it all sounds terrific!

I assume the "Rec Lev" knob stands for "Recording Level." Not sure what that really means, but to my ears, it sounds like a repeat knob …. very useful in conjunction with the Echo Delay and Mix controls ! Here is how the manufacturer describes the control - Record level: There’s a control on the EP-3 that sets how hard the tape gets hit. While this control was ostensibly used to optimize signal-to-noise ratio, set low it would give light and airy repeats and set high it would saturate the tape hard and give an awesome fat and grungy repeat tone.

On top of that, there is an echo sustain control, which to my ears is the tape echo preamp feature of this pedal.  It adds grit, top end and sustain to your delay signal. But keep turning it clockwise and you delve all the way into self-oscillation territory .... super cool !

Finally, I believe the "deal sealer" on this small unit is the "Mod" control. As it implies, it adds modulation to your delay trails. So it is not an all out chorus, but a subtler, more sublime and delicious sounding effect ! Catalinbread nails this feature like no other, in my opinion !

And once again, all in an enclosure that doesn't take up valuable real estate on your pedalboard !

And made in the good ole USA in Oregon! So what are you waiting for?

Please read the condition description, these listing details and examine the pictures carefully.
