Our sewn heat shield sleeve is made from heat treated fibreglass weave and covered with an aluminised material to reflect heat. The heat shield is sewn into a sleeve with a fibreglass thread offering superior heat and abrasion protection for the most demanding applications.
The sewn heat shield sleeve is non-flammable, offers great short-term flame protection, has excellent thermal insulation properties and is perfect for automotive applications to protect against heat soak for fuel lines, wiring looms, air intakes, intercooler piping and air conditioning hoses.
Always order a slightly larger diameter for your intended application to allow for ease of installation and to give enough clearance for bends.
Sold in lenghts of 250mm (0.25m) and will be supplied in one uncut length up to 5m.
