A narrative ring. I thought about orphaned babies, left by desperate mothers. Kyrgyz (my home country) economic migrants often leave babies for many reasons – unwanted pregnancies due to abuse, stigma of being a single mother, poverty and inaccessibility of medical help due absence of valid papers. Women and their children suffer for the rest of their lives with this rupture. I thought about the unsung lullabies so I made this ring with patterned agate surrounded by shards and beads of Tourmalines. Ring size German 17¼, French 54, British N½, American 7
