Very nice, Hand Carved, Spice Box With Pivoting Lid.

This is a very nice, 3 compartment box, the lid pivots on a metal nail of some kind.

The lid swings open freely and the pivot is solid.

This is an Estate Find, I was told this is Indian, but I know nothing more than that.

The box measures about 9 1/2” long, slightly over 3” wide, 2 3/4” tall, 3 1/2”with the lid. The inner compartments are roughly 2 1/4” - 2 3/8” square.

This is a very nice piece, great for use or as part of a collection !
