A rare and large antique Chinese four panel screen featuring intricately carved dragons with intense eyes of bone guarding a Chinese pine tree.  In Chinese culture, different tree species have unique symbolism.  Pine trees symbolize longevity, solitude and steadfastness because of their capacity to endure severe weather.  And because pine needles grow in pairs, pine trees are also a symbol of marital bliss.
