When you remove your combination switch, you have to be very careful not to spin the steering angle sensor (SAS). If you do, the car will lose programming and you will get an ESP light.

To access the switches, you only need to remove the three screws on the side of your combination switch, bypass the plastic secure snap, and pull it out your original switch to replace.

Again, be very careful not to spin the clear steering angle sensor (SAS) in the front.
