Our VCC-3 Microfiber Vinyl Record Cleaning cloths from TME® took a long time to find, test, and approve. Most cloths out there are more suited to cleaning yoga mats than vinyl, and are made with too hard a material and they will scratch your precious vinyl. Some are ultra-cheap cut cloths with no edge treatment and are destined to fray. Some are tiny cloths, almost useless for absorption, with too-small fibers to reach down into the grooves far enough, and are better suited for cleaning eyeglasses.
TME/Lasermedia VCC-3 is a three pack of black 12" Square vinyl cleaning cloths (great for CDs too!) and each is hand re-washable many times over and won't fray apart like non edge sewn cloths. The soft fibers reach down deep into the grooves absorbing fluid and capturing dirt. Still, allow your vinyl or CD to air dry before use.Spray the vinyl with record cleaning fluid like our highly recommended Lasermedia TME VNC-8 avoiding the label, and let it sit for 30 seconds. If you get some on the label, pat it off. You do not need a rubber label cover since they do more harm than good by trapping fluid that comes in from the side. (The print ink is water proof anyway and has to be through water based mold release in the manufacturing process of vinyl.) Move the cloth along with the grooves in a circular fashion, not across the grooves. And thank you for considering our products!
