Alfol Catalog (1952)
Out-of-print, hard-to-find paper catalog 4 pages, 2 sheets from the Reflectal Corporation, Alfol Division, New York NY.  Catalog is undated but was taken from a publication issued in 1952. In 1952, Borg-Warner acquired Reflectal Corp., which produced aluminum foil blanket type insulation and building materials at a plant in Hudson Falls,N.Y. In addition, this plant also manufactured asbestos insulation, jacketing and insulating concrete.

Asbestos Reference:

Alfol building blanket insulation was offered in a special application of Alfol Asbestos for high temperature insulation, warm air ducts, baseboard radiation, recessed radiators etc.

More than 25,000,000 square feet has been used by the United States Navy and many of the largest FHA financed housing developments but the literature does not specify which type of Alfol was used.
