Classic Upholstered English Bobbin Turned Lounge Chair On Castors

This is a fantastic antique upholstered English hand-carved and bobbin-turned lounge chair on original brass sabots and castors. The seat, arm rests and back cushions are upholstered in a sage green velvet fabric. The chair is raised on bobbin-turned legs.

This large, sturdy and comfortable chair, which was sourced from a well-appointed estate in Fairfield County, Connecticut, was skillfully crafted and has been lovingly maintained. The elaborately carved crest rail and exposed bobbin on the high back frame makes it as esthetically appealing from behind as it is from the front.
