For how long are my items protected?

Your items are protected from the date that you purchased the item. After purchase you just need to activate lifetime protection (see below) to ensure that your coverage against theft, defect and damage continues for the duration of your ownership. Once done, we’ll email you close to the renewal date to check if you still want the items covered. If you no longer need the protection you can cancel at any time, or don’t do anything and the protection will renew automatically. How do I get a refund?

You can get a refund anytime within 30 days of purchase.

How do I activate lifetime protection for my items?

When purchasing an item on eBay you will be offered protection for a limited time only. In your confirmation email from eBay there’s a link to enable lifetime protection. Your activation will either be handled via PayPal, or you can choose another method.

What do I get with XCover Protection?

Your coverage limit is the same as the price that you paid on eBay. So if your items need replacing because the repair cost exceeds the value or they’ve been stolen, the item will be replaced or we’ll issue you a store credit. If the item can be repaired, we’ll arrange that.
