- Black Grimwades backstamp with "Made Under License By Grimwades Ltd. Stoke-On-Trent England"
- THE CUBE and the appropriate Reg No's are also seen.
- "CUBE" is cast into the bottom of the teapot.
- Mayflower was introduced in 1926 by A.J. Wilkinson on their Chintz, but was also utilized by Grimwades on THE CUBE Teapot.
- Reference: page 196 of the Charlton Standard Catalogue of Chintz, Susan Scott, 3rd Edition
- Picture noted on page 237, "Shapes" which shows The Cube Teapot in the Mayflower pattern.
- An awesome addition to your collection.
- No cracks / repairs / staining. There is a small flake / chip INSIDE the lid. (See pictures) This does not impact the display or utilization of the teapot
- No visible crazing to the naked eye.
- Some pattern loss seen near the knob on the lid, along with loss to the gold gilding of same.
- Some loss to the gold gilding on the handle.
- Small area of pattern wear seen on one side of the teapot in a "vertical groove" (see 3rd and last pics)
- Teapot is approx. 4 1/8" on each side.
