This is a lovely vintage Satin Night Gown by Barbizon.  The gown is ivory satin with ecru antiqued lace ruffles at end of sleeves, neck and bodice.  The side slits are 25" high.  The sleeves are full with ruffles at the wrists:  The sleeves and  collar remind me  of Elizabethan styles.   This is a very romantic look.

The tag reads, *Adore  Barbizon Satin de Lys.*  By the tag I was able to date this to the late 1950's  forward, thanks to the information from Lizzie Bramlett as follows:
