A fine bunch of three beautifully hand carved and painted mackerel fish upon a natural hand-spun sea grass string.

Mackerel are easily recognisable by the distinctive vertical stripes that run their length and by their deeply forked tails. 

This product has been skilfully hand carved by village craftsmen on the island of Bali in Indonesia which is famous for its tradition of wood carving.

The fish have been beautifully carved and painted and produced under fair trading conditions to benefit the village community as well as the producer. It has been painted using lead free paints and local replaceable softwood.
