Description

Ceramic samurai yoroi suit of armor, Date Masamune Model. This is a miniature replica figurine of a yoroi armor worn by the 16th-17th century samurai warrior Date Masamune.
His armor can be distinguished by the crescent moon crest on the helmet.
Finely detailed ceramic yoroi armor is also elaborately hand-painted with gold shimmer dust applied so it looks more like an authentic ornate yoroi armor.

It is for decorative purposes only.
It is a solid piece and cannot be taken apart.
The set includes:
- Plastic display base
- 2 fake lanterns (made from ceramic, no light up)
- A two-fold gold paper background screen
- Wooden board that says 光堂作 (koudou saku) meaning "made by Koudou". (Koudou is the manufacturer's name).

Yoroi armor measures 4" (10 cm) Tall.
Base measures 7" (18 cm) x 3 7/8" (9.8 cm)
Gold screen measures 5" (12.8 cm) Tall.

This ceramic samurai armor, unlike authentic life-size ones, never takes up much space in your room.
It makes the perfect decor piece for a small space on your shelf, chest or desktop.

We can ship to US addresses only via expedited shipping.
Will ship to other countries via ePacket or EMS. ePacket usually takes 10-20 days.
EMS will be delivered most quickly with great care, which takes 3 -10 days.
Both methods are offered by Japan Post. Tracking and Insurance are included. (You need to sign for the package when it's delivered. )

I will be happy to combine shipping. You will be charged the full postage for the item with the highest shipping and $4.00- 7.00 will be added per item (depending on the item weight and shipping method chosen). Please note that some heavy items cannot be combined.

My store provides Japanese Seto-yaki porcelain figurines. 'Seto-yaki' is a general term for porcelain products made in Seto Japan.
Seto is a city located in the center of Japan, and is also the center for Japan's ceramics industry.
From Occupied Japan Era to the late '70s, Seto-yaki items under various brand names used to be exported worldwide. However, as the ceramics industry has been declining year by year, many manufacturers have been forced to shut down their factories in the last few decades.
