George IV sterling silver sixpence dated 1826. This is the Bare head, lion reverse head variety, ESC (Bull) 2438 S, Scarce. Bought from Spink's Numismatic Circular, October 2005, reference MS6769. This coin was illustrated in colour inside the cover of that issue. Includes the Spink ticket and another older ticket showing the old Seaby number S1665 (now S3815). This has reflective fields with rainbow toning, particularly on the reverse, see the 3rd & 4th photo taken in artificial light on an iPhone. I would grade this as EF or better.
