Telestrat for student fingers by PCsGC (with an Alnico V humbucker)

https://youtu.be/pKpt4ebOq8k

The telestrat in the video above is not this one here, but an earlier version I made and has similar pickups and range of tones.
A fairly heavy but resonant telestrat with a mahogany body and a maple neck.

(I see from the photo of the rear body that I only put in two of the six screws in the plastic cover plate... I will add the other four tomorrow)
(And when you look at photo four of the string action across the first fret it will look not very low in the macro close shot, but this morning I worked on the string slots and made a 50% reduction in the action there)

Two standard strat single coil pickups near the neck and an Alnico V humbucker in the bridge position... a five way switch selects combinations of the three.

The set up is in process and I am experimenting with varying amount of neck relief... I have re cut the string grooves in the nut so the strings sit low across the first fret... this makes it easy to hold your basic chords, and also makes it easier not to touch adjacent strings either side of the finger that is on a string.

I made an Eric Clapton trem block lock so this is hard-tailed for better sustain and easier tuning.

A nice soft action guitar for a student or returning player.
