ANTIQUE REPOUSSE STERLING TOPPED GLASS BOTTLE SET LEATHER CASE AS IS

This product data sheet is originally written in English.

This is a great vintage set of bottles. Although listed under perfumes, these all have screw on caps so were probably for powder, tablets, and other feminine essentials. This set comes in a leather case that has been mostly destroyed. There is a beautiful silver (?) plaque on one side of the remaining leather case. It features a North Wind or Greenman face. This has not been monogrammed. Each bottle has a repousse top with roses decorating it. All are twist / screw on and all are marked "Sterling". The larger (3&1/2" tall) silver tops are marked "Sterling" with a crown and "925 Fine". One of the tops on one of the larger bottles has a dent. Both larger bottles are marked on the bottom "G&L". All the glass vials / bottles are in good condition with no chips, cracks, etc. One of the smaller vials (3&1/4" tall) has etched on it "Table Tea" (tablespoon / teaspoon is a guess) with numbers ("1" under the left Table side and "1,2,3,4" under the Tea side). This is also the vial with tablets in it - not for consumption! Total size of the remaining case is about 5" across x about 3&3/4" tall x 2" deep (if it still closed). This is an elaborate set that would have belonged to a wealthy socialite in the late 1800s, early 1900s!
