A
very rare 7 1/2-inch salad or dessert plate by Schumann Arzberg
Germany, circa 1960-1970, with interesting picture of two boars. There
is gold fleck to the paint or sealant over the boars. Mr. and Mrs. Boar
were trekking the snowy meadows under cloudy skies unaware that one day
they would end up on the pie plates of Bavarian china, thankfully for
them, not literally. This makes a collectible plate not everybody would
fancy but it caught my eye. Since it is the solitary plate in my
collection, I have decided to part with it now. Give it some careful
thought before you buy, these are very sensitive boars who seek select
living quarters.
Measurement: 7 1/2-inch plate.
