Gorham Silver Soldered Tea Kettle Water Warmer w Spigot Figural Faces c1868.  Presented is a fantastic round silver plate kettle, samovar, or water warmer with lamp burner and spigot. This beautiful round kettle has a distinct style with figural faces peering out above four tall slightly bowed legs supporting a round pot with two large ring handles on either side and a ball finial round lid crowning it all. It has no dents and only one minor pinpoint in its elaborately all over engraved finish with a great calligraphic "French" monogram hidden quite well in the back. No wear to plating that I can see. This great piece is marked for Gorham MFG Silver Company with a style or product number of 020 and an A date letter for silver I believe to have been made c1868. Gorham Silver Co. is world renowned for the quality and artful design of the item they produce. This is a great piece for the collector of Tea-sets or just a great usable piece for almost any table or setting.
