Monsanto Plastics (1949)

Out-of-print, hard-to-find 8 1/2" x 11" paper catalog, 8 pages from the Monsanto Chemical Company, St. Louis MO.  Dated 1949 and was taken from a compilation issued in 1949.

Asbestos ReferenceS:

Resinox resins are thermosetting plastic compounds based on phenolic resins.  They combine a base resin with a filler such as wood flour, macerated fabric, mica, cotton flock, or asbestos with dyes, pigments and lubricants.

These resins were used to make all sorts of products such as radio cabinets, clock cases, knobs, wiring devices, electrical control parts, gauge/meter housings, power plugs, ordnance equipment, jacks, controls, relay switches, and other types of electronic equipment.

Book Condition:
The catalog is in VERY GOOD condition!!  The pages may have some lite browning due to age.   It's still a very good booklet with plenty of life left in it!!
