Up for sale is an Ernie Irvan autographed M&M's Racing hat from 1999. I obtained this hat from a fan signing event in Oakdale, CA prior to the Nascar race at Sears Point that year. This hat is gorgeous in all black with the signature in silver Sharpie. I remember when I walked up with this hat and saw him with the black Sharpie in hand, I was hesitant as I knew it wouldn't show up anywhere. Then, he reached back to his helper(or rep, or agent, I'm guessing) behind him and without missing a beat he handed Ernie a silver metallic Sharpie. This was a much smaller event than the one I went to in Vegas months prior and he had more time to sign things and talk with the fans that were there. You can see he was more relaxed and took his time as evidenced by the quality of the signature alone.
At that same event, I won an autographed standee of Ernie that I hope to be listing soon as well, but have no idea how to ship due to its size. It's only got one fold in it and I want to keep it that way, so it'll require a very large, very thin box to ship. If you're interested in that standee, let me know.
This hat has never been worn and is still in perfect condition. It is made of a cotton twill and has a snapback adjustable strap to fit most sizes. There is no COA offered with item as I obtained the item in person and am not a memorabilia company nor certification service.
