2020 Contemporary Multi Media Collage Studio Framed Art - Artist Signed OOAK
This piece was created by Mike Riley, an established artist with a studio in the Green Bay, Wisconsin metro area. Using his painted canvas to passionately portrait the kindness of his heart & the vision of what he would like to see in light of current societal issues in the United States, this fantastic collage of many materials is aesthetically pleasing with a wonderful message. The photo of people of different ages and races together in quiet contemplation along with one word - Reverence - depicts what he so desires at the very core of his soul. Meeting and speaking with Mike for the first time at a fundraiser for children in need, I left with this piece knowing that his humility and use of his free time & talents to serve the underserved makes him worthy of what he does not seek: Recognition. For this reason I am listing his creation with the hope that his "Random Art of Kindness" project will gain some momentum.
