Rare Star Wars Troops and Hardware Wars Parodies on VHS.

Troops was a low budget film produced for under $2,000 (which is why was sold on a blank recording tape and not professionally distributed.) with special effects and distribution of the movie all done on a home computer by Kevin Rubio and a few college friends in the late 90's. Approved of by George Lucas himself while viewing it in England during the Episode 1 production. Rubio was invited by Lucas himself to ILM to screen Troops for the staff that was hard at work on the new trilogy. This sought after VHS is extremely hard to come by and was only distributed at the Dragon Con event. If you don't know what this is, please do not purchase as you will only be satisfied if you are a true Star Wars Fan and have looked high and low for this to add to your collection.

Hardware Warsis a 1978 short film parody of a teaser trailer for the science fiction film Star Wars. The thirteen-minute film, which was released almost 18 months after Star Wars, mainly consisted of inside jokes and visual puns that heavily depended upon audience familiarity with the original.
