Thoughtfully designed, they are made from heavy duty moleskin with Cordura panels.
Extremely hardwearing, shorter in the leg (29" rather than the usual Laksen 34") as they are designed for wearing with wellies/ boots and gaiters. They also have a tapered calf with a zip on it and Cordura flaps which can be worn outside your wellies/gaiters to stop the rain channelling in.
Excellent for outdoor activities such as shooting, beating, stalking, dog training, walking and frolicking carelessly in brambles!
The moleskin is a dark olive green (not grey as it looks on some of the photos) with lighter panels of green Cordura.
According to Laksen they are DWR (durable water resistant) but after 5 mins in the shower testing them, the water had still not come through so I reckon they are more waterproof than resistant although I suspect over time you may need to re proof them to keep this up.
Many useful pockets.
Waist sizes are actual garment measurements so you need to go up a size to allow for movement/ tucking in. Go up 2 sizes if you are a bit borderline on size or like a more relaxed fit.
Men's fit but worn with a belt, they seem quite popular with lady beaters and pickers up!
