Card Condition

The card pictured above is the exact card you will receive.  Please formulate your own opinion on the card condition before purchasing.

If an informal grade is listed in the title for this card, grading scale attempts to follow PSA’s grading system.  I am not a grading expert, but I provide informal grades as a general ballpark description of the card condition.  My assessment of the card condition is an estimate only and does not mean a professional grading company will reach the same conclusion.   My informal grades are based upon the following:

GEM-MT – Four perfectly sharp corners with near perfect centering and sharp focus.  Free of staining of any kind but an allowance may be made for a slight printing imperfection if it doesn’t impair the overall appeal of the card.

MINT – Exhibits only the following minor flaws: slight wax stain on the reverse, minor printing imperfections or slightly off-white borders.  Centering is 60/40 to 65/35 or better on the front.

NM-MT – Can exhibit a very small wax stain on reverse, slight fraying at one or two corners, minor printing imperfection and slightly off-white borders.  Centering is 65/35 to 70/30 or better on the front.

NM – May have slight fraying on some corners, picture focus may be slightly off, may have a minor printing blemish and/or slight wax staining on the back of the card.  Centering is 70/30 to 75/25 or better on the front. 

EX-MT – May have visible surface wear or a printing defect.  Light scratch may be detected.  Corners may have slightly graduated fraying. Picture focus may be slightly out of register.   Centering is 80/20 or better on the front.

EX – Minor rounding of the corners is becoming evident.  Surface wear or printing defects are more visible.  Minor chipping on the edges.  Several light scratches may be visible.  Centering must be 85/15 or better on the front.

VG-EX – Card may have slightly rounded corners or minor creases, light scuffing/scratches.  Centering is 85/15 or better on the front.

VG – Some rounding of the corners.  Some surface wear is apparent with possible scuffing/scratches.  Edges may show noticeable wear.  Crease may be visible.  Printing defects possible.  Centering must be 90/10 or better on the front.

GOOD – Accelerated rounding and surface wear.  Scratching, scuffing or light staining.  May have several creases and may show significant discoloration.  Centering is 90/10 or better on the front.

FAIR – Corners will show extreme wear and the surface will show advanced wear including scuffing, scratching, ripping and staining.  Card may have heavy creases and centering is 90/10 or better.

POOR – Corners will show extreme wear and can have significant creases, markings/handwriting, stains, tears, pin holes or other significant defects.

Shipping

This card will be shipped in a plain white envelope with a first-class postage stamp and protected with a top loader.  No tracking number will be provided.  All cards are hand delivered to the U.S. Postal Service within 24 hours of purchase.

If you prefer tracking and a bubble mailer, shipping cost will be $4.00.  Please send me a message before submitting payment and a revised invoice will be sent to you.

I will combine shipping on multiple cards.  When you purchase the cards, please send me a message requesting combined shipping and I’ll refund shipping charges to you after the purchase.
