SHIEBLER ANTIQUE STERLING SILVER & MIXED METAL STAMP BOX NY .925 Art Nouveau. Shipped with USPS First Class.

This is an incredibly rare stamp box by George W. Shiebler. He worked 1846-1920 mostly in NY. I’m not sure that another one like this exists anywhere in the world. I certainly can’t find one, if you can I’d love to know. It is of mixed metal. Seems to be sterling silver, red bronze, and a gold wash inside. It is marked “& Other Metals” meaning silver and other metals. It has the model number 42C in addition to the Shiebler makers mark. It is what I would call perfect antique condition. It is really a beautiful object and feels great in the hand. I currently use it to hold stamps as it’s intended. It could be used as a pill box as well. It is 4.75” long and 2.25” wide. I’ll ship ASAP! Thanks
