Beautiful vintage plates from the iconic utility 1940s/50s Woods Ware factory.

This was the standard china service during WW2 and especially in halls and community settings. A wonderful set with real history. As usual with these mass produced WW2 items you get the odd manufacturing irregularity which makes Woods Ware the joy it is.

Iris aficionados will know that Iris comes in two shades, a paler one and a slightly darker pastel. These are all the more delicate, lighter shade.
