A well-worn copy of The Acting Edition of French's Standard Drama for the play David Garrick written by T.W. Robertson. Interesting in its own right, this copy, we believe, was owned and signed by Frances Robinson-Duff. An accomplished actress herself, Ms. Robinson-Duff  later pursued a career in teaching actors and became generally known as "the foremost dramatic coach in America".  Among her students were Helen Hayes, Mary Pickford, Clark Gable, and Katherine Hepburn.

The handwritten notation at the top of the front wrap reads, "'Bunny'   June 30th 1924   Frances R. Duff - New York City -".  "Bunny", we believe was a nickname.   Although we do not know for certain that "Bunny" was her nickname, we have a couple of other similar items with nearly alike identifying notations that contain the word "Bunny".

Please review the preceding condition description box and photo gallery.  The thirty-six page paper booklet is rather fragile, but is complete. It will be shipped well protected in a sturdy box.
