Truly special hand made quilt signed in stitch "McIntyre". Amazing stitchwork with intricate handcut accents. Many many hours went into this piece. Lots of strips and geometry so it is a little wonky in areas (was made to use not win a competition). Looks like depression era colors etc. but I'am no expert. This quilt would look great w/ traditional, contemporary, country, cottage shic, etc. many great colors to match with. Condition wise it appears as if it was used but doesnt have any major flaws. What you'd expect on old quilt; fabric worn in areas, stitching loose, etc.. Not seeing any stains, smells, or other major issues but you'll probably want to have it professionally cleaned. Did notice a few spots where stitching was missing which I tried to capture in the pics. Still acceptable for years of using and admiring. If you have any questions do so before purchasing.
