This DVD (and any other DVD released anywhere in the world) will play just fine on any multi-region DVD player, bought in USA or elsewhere. It will also play on most computers' DVD drives. Some consumers actually own a multi-region DVD player, without knowing it. All you need to do if you own such Philips, Akai, CyberHome or other DVD player is to use your remote control to switch it to multi-region mode. As such features are almost always not documented by the DVD player's manufacturer, we'd recommend you check your DVD player's capabilities by searching the web for the words 'videohelp DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes' and choosing the very first link found.
For our USA customers, if you need an advise for a inexpensive ($30-$40) US DVD player, please feel free to contact us or to read our recommenations here: Our DVD player recommendations. Please keep in mind that we do not sell DVD players.

This DVD does not contain pornographic material and may be lawfully sold to and viewed by minors.

Synopsis:
Wajeh: The many checkpoints, which divide the West Bank to separate areas and block the free movement of the Palestinians within the land, pose a great problem on everyday life. In this film, Wajeh, a coffee maker, sells coffee in the Qalandia checkpoint, ,near Ramallah, and that makes him a central figure, very well known, and having an important role on the lives of thousands of people who cross the checkpoint on a daily basis. Audition: A female director wants to shoot a film describing an encounter between an Israeli woman and a Palestinian man. She calls a Palestinian actor for an audition. The idea of drinking coffee enrolls a meeting point between two strangers, a chance to get close, to get intimate. What are the boundaries of an audition? Where does reality start, and where does the film end? Sense of Morning: On the last night of the siege on Beirut during the war of 1982, a young Palestinian poet strives to reach the kitchen in order to observe his everyday routine of coffee and cigarette, despite the plight of the war going on around. The film is inspired by Memory of Forgetfulness by Mahmud Darwish - 1987. Tasnim: Tasnim, a strong and opinionated 10-year-old, lives with her mother and siblings in a neglected Bedouin village in the Negev. A surprise visit from her father in the village forces her, for the first time in her life, to confront the conservative norms of the family tribe and the fact that she is no longer daddy's-little-girl. The Clock and the Man: Fathi, son of an impoverished wealthy family, is appointed to work as a clerk in the nearby town of his hometown, Acre. To his surprise, every morning knocks on the door wake him up before his alarm clock goes off. Fathi decides to ambush the unknown early riser, and discovers an elderly man who disappears as soon as the door opens. During the film, the reasons of the old mans strange deed are revealed. The film is based on the story The Clock and the Man, written by Samira Azzam, a Palestinian writer who lived in Acre. A Cup of Coffee from Palestine: The story of a cup of coffee, though served in many different places, it but has the same bitter taste. In Al-Amari Refugee camp, an old man is sitting in a coffee shop at the camp's main road. People pass him by, telling their life stories, beginning with their past, ending up with their dreams. Through the film the Palestinians, prisoners of their past and blocked by their future, are still waiting for a change or for someone to add some sugar. Eva Is Leaving: Eldad, the owner of 'La Coquette' Cafe, is becoming religious. His wife, Eva, disapproves of the new man her husband has become. Eldad struggles to render his place kosher, while Eva insists on keeping her old habits. A couple facing the end of their relationship.Water: Israelis and Palestinians Make Very Different Movies About Water. Nine jointly made films show the eyes of beholders can see very different things. Sport: ISRAELI - PALESTINIAN CINEMATIC PROJECT Four filmmakers, Israeli and Palestinian, created short films, both documentary and fiction, on the subject of SPORT. Produced in creative freedom and in mixed crews of Palestinian and Israelis, the films reflect a personal, courageous point of view on reality. SPORT is a continuation of WATER which opened Critics' week at the Venice International Film Festival, 2012. WATER is the winner of France Amnesty International Award 2013.
