This is an OFFICIAL AMERICAN LEAGUE (Budig) Baseball signed by former Yankees and Angels pitcher JOHNNY JAMES in black pen.  This ball came from a collection of all pitchers who surrendered home runs to Roger Maris in 1961.  He added the inscription "#20" under his name indicating that he gave up Roger Maris' 20th homerun in the historic 1961 season.  The signature rates a 9/10.  The ball itself is lightly to moderately toned and spotted throughout.  Please look at pictures for further detail.  I am happy to send/post more pictures upon request, if needed.

DID YOU KNOW?  James pitched in only one game for the Yankees in 1961 before being traded to the Angels.

This ball comes with a COPY of the JSA Auction House LOA, UPON REQUEST ONLY!

This ball was originally purchased through a reputable auction house and I will GUARANTEE THE AUTHENTICITY of the signature with a FULL money back promise if PSA or JSA happens to think otherwise.  I have been collecting, buying and selling baseball autographs for close to 40 years and am considered an expert in the field.  Take a look at the photos, consider my 100% POSITIVE feedback and BID WITH CONFIDENCE.  Please also take a look at my other auctions for more great signed baseballs!

I price ALL of my baseballs to SELL...usually lower priced than all other comparable balls on eBay at the time of listing (seriously...check it out!).  I do list with a "Best Offer" option as again, I am here to SELL these balls, even though I feel my initial pricing is fair.  If you have a reasonable amount in mind, please send an offer.  Worst thing that could happen is for me to decline the offer.  If I counter the offer, it means we're close...let's work together to make it happen.  Thanks for looking!  Brandon
