The bearing rebuild kit for the NP231J comes complete with all the components you need to replace all the required bearings, seals and gaskets. While you are rebuilding your transfer case we always suggest replacing the chain as well. As a chain failure could cause significant damage to your transfer case and should not be overlooked in the rebuild process.
We are offering this NEW transfer case overhaul rebuild bearing kit
that includes the Borg-Warner transfer case chain
for various Jeep applications equipped with the NP 231J
(EXCEPT JEEP LIBERTY MODELS)
Verify the width of your chain prior to your purchase.
The NP231J case may have either the 1" wide chain or the 1.25" wide chain.
This kit includes the 1" Wide Chain.
