Memory DDR, DDR2, DDR3 are not common to each other, slot and socket are not the same, more can not be forced into, so as not to damage the memory and motherboard, remember!
If the memory appears: blue screen, crash, restart, alarm long sound please follow the following method, if the problem still exists, then you can determine this memory is not compatible:
Memory is not properly plugged, or oxidized, you can use an eraser to wipe the memory card and then re-insert, or change the slot.
Memory tank dust or oxidation, you can use a brush and wash board water cleaning.(Use a brush if there is no wash board water)
Memory is not compatible, you can try another memory.
CMOS does not discharge and restore factory settings, maybe it will be normal.(Remove the motherboard battery and reinstall it)

The motherboard is not compatible with CPU, you can try changing CPU.
