Title:  Honeywell Pentax Spotmatic SP 500 # 3361290 w/ Super-Takumar 55/2 #2873178 TESTED Working, w/ Case+ 135mm/3.5  Super-Tak #2477989 + RMC Tokina 28mm/2.8 #8066647 + Kenko 49mm UV filter

MECHANICALLY: Honeywell Pentax of 1971 this is the very Scarce SP 500 model. It has no 1/1000th speed or a self- timer. It also does not have a hot shoe for flash on top. The meter also is USED in closed down metering; using the mercury PX400 mercury battery or equal.  Outside chrome is in very good condition, baseplate a few bright marks, nice. Leather is great condition. Inside mirror, & eyepiece & screen is nice clear condition. Mirror box and screen bottom cleaned. Baseplate removed Battery box cleaned thoroughly down to circuit board. Using  20+ yr. old epx-400 battery . Meter needle moves BUT not enough juice left in this old battery to center the needle.
The lens is good as you can find in Asahi Auto-Takumar 55/2 is the 2nd sharpest lens Asahi made and a cult favorite.  This is the Super Takumar  version lens,  Not the SMC with the cam,  so metering is closed down , using the switch on the side. This camera did not offer full open metering.  The 55/2 lens was taken apart by myself to repair the Iris as oil on the blades was seizing the auto Iris. and cleaned and now,  is very clear. The filter ring 49mm is easy  getting a filter on;  One nice camera and I check everything very carefully unlike so many bad eBay sellers who know nothing about camera SPECS.
The Super Tak 135mmF:3.5 is in fine optical condition, clear no haze or fungus. It does had a bad spot in the filter thread which makes putting on the sunshade hard, but doable.
The RMC Tokina 28mm F:2.8 lens  is clear optically and a nice working lens.

OPTICALLY: Very nice Super Tak coated clear glass,  No haze, dirt or fungus. In sunlight the coating reflections of the sunlight through the lens were Multi colored, which is very, very good.

USE: Great lenses on a digital camera w/ adapter, a cult favorite for outstanding sharpness and Bokeh on fakebook's Spotmatic Camera group. Great 35mm film shooter. 55/2 was really a F:1.8 with a insert over the iris to make it F:2.  Its so sharp, Leitz Leica Summircron 50/2 had a heart attack. the 135mm is very sharp lens and The Tokina 28mm is great and has uses on a "C" sized chip digital camera.
