She is a director of Khara Co., Ltd.
Her husband is film director Hideaki Anno.
She has works such as "Hataraki Man," "Sakuran," and "Happy Mania."
She won the 29th Kodansha Manga Award for "Sugar Sugar Rune", and
did the Excellence Award in the Manga Division at the 23rd Cultural Agency Media Arts Festival
for her "Recollection of the Gentleman under the Nose".
She is currently serializing "After Happy Mania" on "FEEL YOUNG" and "Fushin Doraku" on "I'm home."
