Sterling silver William III shilling, 1st bust, dated 1696 N; Norwich mint. ESC 1184 S ....scarce. This coin has two clear unlisted errors; The first V in GVLIELMVS is an inverted A, possibly over something else. (The E and the L also look to be blundered). On the reverse the E of REX is over a B or perhaps an R. I would grade this as gFine or a little better. Similar errors on the London mint shillings are classified as R4, R5 & R6 in ESC. Probably very rare indeed.
