Complete Set of Crucible Dishes - Cups ( 5 Sizes ) and Whip Handle Tong Holders ( 3 Sizes )

Set includes The "Whip" crucible dish holders, a wire handled instrument which works by reverse action pinching and holding the dish in place for pouring. The WHIP makes a lot of sense when using thes melting dishes. Made of stainless steel, the spring action keeps good tension to assure the user that melting dishes will not slip. 

Set of 5 dish crucibles, are the most commonly used forms of crucibles for melting nonferrous precious metals. Crucibles withstand temperatures up to 2500°F / 1371°C.

The “Whip” crucible dish holder was invented by a jeweler is a wire handled instrument that works by reverse action, by pinching and holding the dish in place for pouring. The WHIP makes a lot of sense when using small melting dishes. Made of stainless steel, the spring action keeps good tension to assure the user that melting dishes will not slip.

Jumbo - Large and Small "Whip" Crucible Holders 
- Small Whip Handle:    Holds and fits 1-3/4" and 2-1/4" dishes. Handle length is 9-3/4"               
- Large Whip Handle:    Holds and fits the 3" and 4" dishes.  Handle length is 10-1/4"
- Jumbo Whip Handle:  Holds and fits the 4" and 5-1/2" dishes.  Handle length is 14-1/2"
