Crime Mysteries Magazine September 1953 Vol. 1 #9. Original, Complete, Ungraded. Very good condition compared to other mags of this era seen in other ebay listings. Personally, I think the grading scale is a bit optimistic.... but I'm not a pro, so who am I to judge. Minor chipping, Dirty Covers. Front cover is dirty with 2 small chips gone. 1 on top edge, 1,along with tear, on right edge. There are pencil marks on the top left corner. Rear glossy cover has a puncture that extends mostly noticeable through the last few pages, but progressively smaller and less noticeable where it does exit through the front cover. No paper is missing from this puncture. Inside rear cover is stained along top edge.The covers are barely hanging on to the staples, yet they are still attached on both. All other pages are complete and secure. Color illustrations are very good. Very little, if any, darkening of the page edges.
