Vintage silver-plated matchbox holder and ashtray, marked with the logo of the Alfred Holt / Blue Funnel Line shipping company.  It is maker marked for Walker & Hall, with date letter O, and is likely 1940s to early 1950s in period.  It measures approx. 5 inches in diameter, and weighs 250g.  In good, original condition – there is some minor bubbling and pitting to the plate finish inside the bowl, and some dried cleaning fluid residue around the scroll foot.
