Victorian gowns were fashionable all through the period of the Civil War. Worn mainly in the evening, these gowns were especially popular to women of the time. This beautiful off-the-shoulder print gown has a full skirt attached to the bodice which has a shallow point at center front. The gown is adorned in lace trim around the neckline and the double-poufed sleeve. 100% cotton. Hand wash gently or Dry clean. This garment was made in the USA.
This gown is off the shoulder and as such has boning in the bodice for support. Because of this it may not be comfortable for a waist over 47". Zipper closure in back.
Dress is made to wear with a petticoat or crinoline, and it will be fuller then. See the Recollections, Inc. website.
